I'm Ange, a UK-based contemporary artist who creates atmospheric coastal paintings inspired by the calm, light, and restorative qualities of the sea.  My work explores stillness, space, and escapism through minimal compositions, soft palettes, and expansive horizons.

I create minimal, atmospheric paintings designed to evoke a sense of stillness and space. My pieces reflect my love of travel and the restorative power of the ocean.

Although originally trained with an art foundation before studying textiles and fashion, I returned to painting during the Covid lockdown while living in Saudi Arabia. Beginning with large abstract works in 2020, painting became both a creative outlet and a way to process isolation and change. I exhibited and sold my first work in 2021.

After returning to the UK in 2022, I began developing a more focused painting practice centred around coastal and seascape subjects. In 2025, I left my corporate role to dedicate more time to my practice, creating a body of work rooted in balance, reflection, and the emotional connection between seascape and wellbeing.

Most recent exhibition was the Harris Open Exhibition 2026.

I started a social media presence in January 2026 sharing the continuing evolution of my practice, and this website is my first venture into selling my work online.

Collections are released in small, considered groups, alongside a selection of fine art prints—offering timeless pieces that bring a sense of calm into the home.
